I was raised as a conservative Democrat in a conservative Republican area. I grew up to be a liberal Democrat with independent ideas and notions. I identify with groups I don't belong to and I believe strongly that standing up for the rights of others (including my own rights) is my first duty as an citizen of our once great country.
